Summer Camps
We are proud to offer numerous resident and day camp options for troops and individuals, Scouts and non-Scouts.
Located on the 1,000-acre Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation in Stanhope NJ, Camp Somers has been providing campers with lifetime memories for more than 60 years. We are proud to offer four one-week sessions of day camp and resident camp to Scouts BSA attending with their troop or by themselves! Campers attending without their troop will be grouped together and form camp troops.
The Trailblazer Day Camp program is for all Scouts BSA, including both first-year new Scouts and experienced higher ranking Scouts. Scouts have the ability to choose to work on rank advancement, merit badges as well as participate in high adventure programs throughout camp. Bus transportation, included in the fee, is provided from locations throughout Morris, Sussex and NW Somerset counties.
Welcoming all boys and girls grades 6-12, Scouts and non-Scouts. Pick from one of these five camps, bring a friend, and have an awesome week: Aquatics, Backwoods Engineering, Climbing, Shooting Sports, or STEM.
